days. I would personally invite you to join us as we reach out to
the 'Last of the Lost' with the Word of God. Please consider being part of a Project
to bring a water well to desperate villagers in the name of the Lord.

Give
a Cup of Cold Water Imagine - a glass of cool, clean water on a hot summer day, a refreshing plunge in a crystal clear pool, a spray of mist as the sprinklers waters our lawns, or a wave in the lake as a water skier blasts by. All of these images are easy for us to imagine, because most of us can easily experience them. Even in the worst weather conditions, our biggest sacrifice may be that we have to stop watering our lawns. For
a moment, let's travel to India or Nigeria, where the sun
bakes the ground hard and dry. In the steamy summer heat, you sweat,
and the dust from the ground sticks to your body. Wouldn't
a glass of water taste wonderful? But you have no water, no
sink, no faucet. In fact you have to walk for a long distance to
collect pond water - if you can find it. Then, you may be driven
away by other people who got there first. Once you do find water, it
must be filtered before you can even think about
drinking it. Your filter is a bucket of sand. Once filtered, you may have your drink, but you know you are facing disease with every swallow. A shower? Forget it. You may have a half bucket of brownish water to bathe yourself in, but it does little to refresh you, and you may only get to bathe once in a week. These are the conditions that our brothers and sisters are facing daily in places like India and Africa - and many other nations. In fact, the World Health Organization |
says that more than a billion people - one in every five on earth - don't have access to safe drinking water. In the time it takes you to read this sentence, somewhere in the world a child will die from a disease that is related to unsafe water. India's number one health hazard isn't AIDS, or car accidents or cancer, it is poor drinking water.
The need for fresh water is so immense, that when a water well is placed in a village, a remarkable door to the Gospel is opened.
Just 2 water wells, placed by GRM in villages of Nigeria (photo above) resulted in the entire villages giving their lives to Christ! Now GRM has planted churches in these villages, and lives are forever changed by the miracle of God's love. If only 2 wells can reach so many, think of the impact we can have on the lost by placing water wells in the many hundreds of unreached villages being targeted by our native pastors!

Prayerfully consider all the blessings God has poured into your life, and sow a little bit of that blessing into GRM's Water of Life project. On average, $3,000* will place a basic water well in a village, supplying fresh water to hundreds of people, and deeply touching every single heart.
