Three
scriptures show us what the Great Commission is all
about: Matt. 24: 14, Matt. 28: 19, 20, and Rev. 5:9.
I want to stress the urgency of our times in light
of the recent events in our nation: All three of these
scriptures use a word which is translated in the Greek
as "ethnos". This word is where we get our
word, 'ethnic', and can also be translated as people
groups. Godıs heart is: "for God so loved the
world..." God loves the people of the world,
and Jesus commanded us to reach every people group,
yet the statistics of the church in America and missions
are shocking. 1% of all missions
giving goes to the unreached people groups, and only
2% of missionary activity is among the unreached people
groups! Out of the 2% of the missionaries who go to
the unreached, only a small fraction are strategically
focused to finish the task! Fulfilling
the Great Commission is about going and sending. "How
shall they hear without a preacher, and how they they
go unless they are sent?" Fulfilling the Great
Commission is about making disciples. We must reach
them, but there is more to it than salvation only.
We are to reach them, and teach them to reach others.
True disciples are to be reproductive - like a seed.
The recent events in our
nation have caused many of us to reflect on our lives
and on what is really important. We must
have the heart of God! Godıs heart is that all would
be reached and no one would perish without Him. That's
what we are all about at GRM - saving lost souls who
face eternity without God. So let's partner with the
native workers, who daily deny themselves, and who
daily pick up their crosses and follow Christ! Let's
GO and pierce through the strongholds of darkness
with the Gospel of light. And when we GO, Jesus
promised that LO, He would be with us until the very
end.

the Gospel one time.
It
takes no special talent or ability - just a willing
heart.
Most
unreached tribes and villages exist in desperate poverty,
where provisions for evangelism are not available.
They need and deserve to hear the Gospel.
